VocabulariesA situation often arises where working (corporate) resources are missing from Vocabularies by default, and manually assigning them among vocabularies takes time.To automate this process, you can enable this option. Afterwards, during daily database optimization (settings here), unallocated popular resources (programs or websites) will also be assigned to a specific vocabulary (usually the "Work"). The result will be visible in the "Deviations" report (in the "Resources" section), as well as other reports. The mechanism works as follows: 1) Reading from the database for the previous day's activity in all unallocated resources (which are displayed as "Other" in the "Deviations" report (in the "Resources" section). 2) For each such resource the total active time spent is calculated, as well as the number of employees who worked with it that day. 3) For resources where the number of employees working exceeds the specified percentage of the total number of employees and the total time exceeds the product of the specified minimum active time in minutes and the minimum number of employees, they are assigned to the specified vocabulary. Note: The vocabulary is specified by a unique ID. By default, it is set to the "Work", however, before starting work, it is best to ensure that the correct ID is specified (if vocabularies have been rearranged, deleted, or added). To view all identifiers, simply execute a SQL query in BOSS-Offline: SELECT id,name FROM TVocabs ORDER BY id Example: - the company employs approximately 1000 people and the minimum number of employees as a percentage is set to 20; - the minimum active time is set to 60 minutes. According to these settings, only those resources with which at least 200 people worked during the previous full day are subject to categorization, only when the total time of active work with the resource for the day was more than 200 * 60 = 12000 minutes. |
